Welcome to our Church!

“What an absolute joy of a place! Full of fascinating stories and architecture, and in such a beautiful setting.”

The oldest building in the parish, St Michael and All Angels dates back to the early Medieval period and has been a sacred space for even longer. This sanctuary and historical gem is set deep in rolling green Herefordshire countryside, in the lively village of Kingsland.

We are a busy and interesting Church of England Congregation, holding services at 11am each Sunday. Additionally, there is Messy Church for children and parents at 9:30am on the 1st Sunday of the month, a BCP Communion Service at 8am on the 3rd Sunday of the month, and a midweek communion service at 9:30am on Thursdays.

We have a thriving choir and an enthusiastic band of bellringers and strong links with the local C of E primary school where members of our congregation are on the governing body. Weekly assembly is taken in school and a monthly Open the Book service is held, along with some of the congregation volunteering to hear reading. Our aim is to share our Christian Faith as we live our lives in this rural community and also by engaging with current issues in the world.
